Hotel Grauer Baer, Solden

I started dining at Gasthof Grauer Bär because it was conveniently close to our chalet, but after trying various restaurants in Sölden, I found myself returning almost every evening. The menu is compact yet covers essential traditional dishes, no matter what you order, it will be excellent. After a long day on the slopes, the generous portions were exactly what I needed, and the prices are reasonable for the village. The service is remarkably quick, and I appreciated that I could start eating just minutes after placing my order.

I really appreciated the underground parking facility at the Gasthof Grauer Bär. Though it is a short walk from the hotel, it feels safe and secure, with plenty of space available. It's especially helpful for anyone driving, as my vehicle was well-protected while I enjoyed my stay. Plus, the added benefit of EV charging points was a pleasant surprise! This made my overall experience much smoother.

During my stay, I encountered very large, newly refurbished rooms that offered ample space and modern amenities. The design felt fresh and inviting, with comfortable beds ensuring a restful sleep after busy days on the slopes. I also liked that my room had plenty of storage, making it easy to organize ski gear and belongings.

The sauna at Gasthof Grauer Bär was a good addition to my stay. Newly renovated and wonderfully relaxing, it provided the perfect end to my busy days of skiing. I loved being able to unwind and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere right in the hotel, which was a fantastic way to ease my sore muscles and rejuvenate for the next day on the slopes.
